Mainly we were assigned to make this website for a school project but we plan to take it to the next level! We have everything you need to know searched up and shown on this website. We also will show you tips on searching your topic and what sites are the best to choose!
In general, Gigablast is a green search engine. What is this supposed to mean? This search engine was made in 200 billlion pages with the least amount od hardware possible. The power (electricity) it needs to search is made 90% of wind energy. It can also be switched to a coal or oil based search to save electricity and money!
Gigablast can also be changed from a directory to a spider search and use advanced search to help you get the best results for your searched topic.There is a special feature on Gigablast called a GigaBot. This is like a spider that goes through each webpage and finds your key word searches. Unlike spiders, it goes through and thoroughly searches the site for the focused topic, it does not search for the word itself, like spiders, but searches the whole topic around it.
